Prague Airport PRG
Václav Havel Prague Airport is served by public transport all day around. The ride to city center takes approximatly 40 minutes. There are bus lines connecting the airport with the metro network.
Getting from the airport
If you arrive by a flight from a country not in the Schengen area, you will arrive at Terminal 1. There is an information centre in right hand side of the arrivals hall. Apart from public transport information, tickets are sold and long-term passes are available.
Flights from Schengen countries arrive at Terminal 2. There is also an information centre on the left hand side of the arrivals hall. The information centres are open every day between 06:00 – 22:00.
In both terminals there are yellow ticket machines. More ticket machines are outside on the bus stops. All ticket machines at the airport accept Czech coins and contactless cards.
The bus stops Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are located on a platform outside of the respective terminal buildings.
There are ticket machines on the platforms and yellow ticket validators. Please stamp the ticket at latest on boarding (there are similar stamping machines on board of all buses), otherwise the ticket is invalid. The ticket must be stamped only once, on the first use.
Tickets are also sold via Lítačka app. Long-term tickets (starting from one month) are also available.

Praha Hlavní nádraží/Prague Main railway station
Prague’s main railway station allows transfer to both commuter and long-distance trains. It is located in the vicinity of the city centre. Direct transfer is to metro line C (entrance is in the hall) and to tram stop Hlavní nádraží (upon exiting the station to to park, turn right; the stops are on the far end of park).
There are two information kiosks of the transit operator Dopravní Podnik (near entrances to the metro station) and an information centre of the whole system PID (bottom floor, ticket office of ČD, leftmost counter).
Certain long-distance buses stop on the roof level of the station. The roof is accessible via elevators. Be aware that the platforms in respective directions are across a trunk road that cannot be crossed. Be sure to wait at the correct stop.

Florenc bus station
Most international and long-distance buses terminate at Florenc bus station. It is accessible by metro lines B and C, trams and buses.
Until 2026, the exits from metro C adjacent to the bus station are closed. Please use the remaining exit E1 from the station. Check the map below to find your way to the bus station.
